This seems pretty good.

Um... well, I have no clue what this is, but I like the old one more. At least there's still source editing. :)

Hmmm... Rectify

I like this new editor....

Testing, testing, 1 2 3Rectify

I think this is kind of annoying how we can't scroll down on the right. I like to type in the center, not the bottom of the page. I could make the bottom the center before by scrolling on the right, but not here. I wonder how the pictures might be different...

I have chosen a picture from the Caleb Cable Wiki for testing.

Pictures seem the same. I wonder if the infobox is easier to use... I looked at it and decided that if anything it's more complicated. I notice you still have to go to the top for bold, italic, underlines, and slashes. Also for hyperlinks, lists, alignments, signature, and headlines. The sidebar is interesting, but it would be easier if it were all in one place. I'd also like the main page scrolling back, separite from the editor scrolling. This is just my opinion. One other thing I just noticed, the page preview is much nicer. And a spell checker would be nice. Sorry I'm beating this new editing system up, but I assume that this is for testing, so we can give our opinions and tell you what we think could be done better. Overall, I like this new system. I just didn't mention as many things that I like as that I don't like, because you don't need to fix the things that are already great. XD

It's okayishems!Rectify

I actually quite like it. The features and media thingymagic on the side is quite a nice touch. The only thing I'd say is I like the "Publish" button at the bottom rather than the side because it just makes more sense, I guess. Plus I'm used to it being there. It's good -- I like it, and I think it's an improvement but it could be improved further.

I like the media center on the right, but I also like to type at the center of the page. Hmmm... It's good.

There are no signature button, and the scroll button making it looks weird. The preview pop out? It's TOTALLY useless. The old still better.

There is a signature button, it's just hard to get to. On the very right of the bar at the top, there's a button that says more +. Click that, and it gives you underline, slash, and signature options.

Yo Rectify

While I still think the old editors better, I do like the preview menu popping up as a small window instead. But I still prefer the old one :P Kenji-Taichō (Talk) 10:56, June 22, 2011 (UTC)

My test experienceRectify

I like the feel and look of the new editor.

Still the facility to put the corrected line in the middle of the screen would be a nice one.

It feels very good to have that preview window pop up but I`v noticed it to be a bit narrower than the resulting page width but I always expect it to be a consistent size.

Overall it`s better than the old thing.

New Editor TestRectify

Good: ...

(I'll come back to this later, promise.)

Bad: There's like 2/3 the editing space as last- WAIT WAIT

Good: Easy to find how to add photos, galleries, etc. (the buttons are kinda hard to miss...)

Bad: The indents are working as well as they were in RTE.

This feels horribly awkward typing at the bottom of the page because there is only one scrollbar.

The text in the article felt that the huge buttons were surrounding them and closing in on them. They told me.

Viewing the 14-point font in source mode makes me feel that my eyesight is worse than it actually is.

Good: Oh wait you can hide the sidebar on the right, that's definitely better.

Bad: Slight lag when switching modes (just enough lag that it's noticeable).

Disgusting lag when editing in source mode. No wait, lag is an understatement. The whole editing space area freezes. The problem is only in the editing space where I can't find the blinking cursor wherever I click, nothing happens when I type, my cursor has no effect on the scrollbar, etc. I couldn't edit at all in source (I waited for a minute or two). It only freezes when the huge box of stuff on the right is closed. When open, it works fine.

Cannot see template very well when it's at the bottom of the article.

Overall: This is a great mode for the people who will enjoy it. If I had to choose between Noob Text Editor and Visual mode, I'd pick Visual, despite me having to get used to it. The main problem I had with editing with it was when I couldn't edit anything in source mode with the box closed. Other than that and a few other minor bugs, it was a good addition, and I can imagine other users enjoying it.

The editor looks cool, I've been having problems with the current editor, so hopefully this one will work better.

Edit conflictsRectify

If you see this edit, then the new Wikia editor has no edit conflict handling and the previous edit has been overwritten. Sometimes, the old editor doesn't even open for me.
